A Revival For Your Lady Parts

A Revival For Your Lady Parts

Hi loves! I had quite an interesting experience a while back that I wanted to share with you. Perhaps I was so intrigued to try it after watching the Tia & Tamera Mowry reality TV show that I had to experience it too. What do you know about V-Steam? It’s an ancient Korean treatment for reviving your lady parts called Vaginal Steaming or commonly known as V-Steam. A V-Steam is a vaginal detox that is supposed to soothe menstrual cramps, regulate your menstrual cycle, boost a woman’s fertility, protect the uterus and help fight infections. The therapy treatment provides a steam facial for the vagina to release toxins and provide oxygen.

My V-Steam treatment was done at Tikkun Holistic Spa in Santa Monica, CA. I was joined by my sis-n-law, who was interested in trying out the treatment too, so we just made it a girls spa day. I’ll give you the run down.

When we first got there the spa service attendant told us to pull off everything and then gave us a strapless big tent cape like dress to wear (Pictured on the left) that can only be worn from the bust down. After we got dressed and locked our things up in an assigned locker, the service attendant took us into a separate room that appeared to be a specific space just for the V-Steam therapeutic treatment. We sat on a steaming stool, much like the one in the photo below, that had water infused with therapeutic herbs (mugwort leaves and flower buds are boiled and steamed for detoxification). The bottom of the stool lets out like a flat bed drawer to rest your feet.

You are able to control the temperature of the steam by using a remote control, which is a great thing because the temperature can get really hot. At one point, it felt like the heat was burning my inner thighs. Not to scare you, but that’s just how it felt until I turned the heat down. Lol. We sweated profusely for about as long as the treatment, which was 30 minutes long, constantly wiping our sweat with a white towel the spa service attendant has you wrap around your neck. The whole 30 minutes, you can feel the steam heating up your lady parts and other areas of your body, which by the way, feels like the herbs are working its way into your insides. 🙂

After the treatment I felt like my lady parts had been detoxified, like an energy release of toxins and wanted to return for another treatment, although I didn’t care too much for the heat. I only experienced the treatment once and I have yet to return, but plan to in the near future. Especially after I spoke with a regular visitor to the spa that said she regularly gets the treatment done because it has helped her tremendously with her menstrual cycle and hormonal levels.

As soon as someone says that they are down for the cause, I’ll be down to troop it out with them.

What do you think about the V-Steam? Would you be willing to try it or do you think it’s pointless?

Speaking of cramps, I could use a V-Steam treatment right about now. The process seems harmless, so I will be definitely looking for a V-Steam treatment spa place in a town near me. Thanks Pentene’ for openly sharing your experience!!!

You are very welcome Dwaynitta! I’m glad you enjoyed this post. I think all women should at least have the experience and see if it can be of any benefit to them.

I have been very interested in trying a V-steam myself since I was first introduced to it by you. The process seems to be very easy and very beneficial to our treasured woman parts. I look forward to trying this out and appreciate the time you took to educate those that have never even pondered such a thought. 🙂
