Wow, it’s been four years since my first live post on my blog and I’m proud of myself. I’m proud that I didn’t give up when I was facing really difficult times in my life. Instead, I used the difficult times to rebrand my blog and wrote posts that meant something much deeper for me. Inspired by my new life experiences and lessons, I changed how I talked about style and it became an additional form of therapy. My style transformed with me as I pursued healing and that really changed the game as I started to see myself as a wardrobe healer. My outlook on style as you may have noticed, has evolved into a whole new dimension. I am grateful that my blog was there when I needed a creative outlet most. So, cheers to four; Happy Anniversary SMF!
In celebration of year four, here are four things that I love about blogging:
1) You can share the things that you are passionate about freely.
2) There are a community of other bloggers that support you, and you can build friendships with.
3) You can be transparent and open about your life because there are people that will be inspired by your story.
4) You have the freedom to create and do you the way that you want.
My dedication to Style Me Fancy by Pentené hopefully taught you something. You have a choice to never give up or give in. Allow the difficult times to lift you higher and inspire you to keep growing. Anything that happens to us is happening for us. We need it all in order to learn the lessons through the mess. Vibrate higher to become the best version of who you were created to be. There’s nothing more beautiful than becoming stronger from something that was meant to break you. In remembrance of a legend and the late great, Kobe Bryant, “Great things come from hard work and perseverance, no excuses.” The mamba mentality lives on through us.
I want to thank you for stopping by to read my blog posts, your genuine comments, subscribing to ride this journey with me and inspiring me to give you more. I look forward to making some changes in the near future to continue to show my growth.
My journey has taught me no matter what life throws at you, have faith and keep going. You never know who’s watching and needing you to so they can keep going as well.
