Beautiful, I hope the ending to your summer is going off without a hitch. Labor day kind of puts us all in the mind frame that fall is coming + there’s nothing we can do about it but prepare for what’s to come. That’s kind of how life works anyway (right?!?). The way the seasons are set up causes for some wardrobe updates. But not so fast. We can actually wear some of the same looks from season to season by choosing wardrobe that are versatile (wardrobe appropriate for any occasion including a season change). Just add certain accessory essentials for a season like the fall (scarf, layer vest) + you’ll be good to go. I’ll share more on this in future outfit posts.

Summer hasn’t completely gone awry just yet although soon fall will be playing the middle man transitioning us from summer to winter, there are certain wardrobe that helps with that transition. (Hold on, cold weather don’t cometh so fast) My jersey knit shift cold shoulder dress was a great go to transitional wardrobe piece for that mid-afternoon date with my boo while we tried out a new restaurant over the labor day weekend. This fabric is like soft cotton + feels great against my skin. The trending cold shoulder is the ultimate shoulder reveal piece daring not to bare too much skin. It’s a chic + romantic garment that impresses. Slipped on the featured peep toe wedge heels, which are a popular shoe for the fall to round up my outfit. The muted purple eases me right into the fall season.

Are there any clothing in your closet that will carry you from summer to fall? Thanks for checking out my outfit post on my transitional look. Xo
