Spring Into Style

Spring Into Style

Tis the season of good ol Spring ladies! I don’t know about you, but I’ve been so ready to get back into my spring dresses, rompers, shorts and open toe sandals. Besides the excitement to get back into clothing perfect for the warm weather, spring is my favorite season. I was born in the spring so I think that’s why there is some sort of love connection between us. 😉 But seriously, I dig temperatures that are not cold but not too hot either.

Spring is a popular season for weddings too. So we’ll definitely see a lot of wedding photos coming to a social media near you. That’s if we’re not the ones sharing them. I certainly was one of those brides sharing my wedding photos a few springs ago. This year I’ll be sharing photos from weddings I’ll be in attendance of. I look forward to sharing my spring wedding guest looks with you really soon.

For today, I couldn’t wait to share with you my spring look on the second day of the new season and to top it off, there’s a love match between my spring look and the background wall. The colorful polka dots on the wall reminds me of colored eggs in an Easter egg hunt. All the different shades of colors are reminiscent of the season of spring.

I’m loving my new ivory floral lace romper. It’s cute, fun, flirty and chic. I chose delicate jewelry to not take away from the details of my romper by wearing the rose gold Tiered Lariat necklace and Havana Studs by Stella & Dot. My chunky neutral color heels helped define my legs. [Side note: Wider heels are also a great wardrobe addition to someone with thicker legs.] Since I’m petite and pear shaped, having a tight waistline on the romper helps balance my waist, bust and hips. This romper is perfect for just about any event a bridal shower, pool party, day out with the girls, picnic date and/or an Easter egg hunt with your kids.

Thank you for the compliment and tip! I absolutely love this background and it appears that others do too. As you can tell, I thought consciously about what I was going to wear against this lovely back drop. I’m happy it’s beginning to warm back up here in Los Angeles so we can really get to dress in our Spring best. 🙂
