Hey loves + happy hump day to ya. Wait just a minute. Our summer sixteen is almost over + I’m not sure how I feel about it. It was one of the best summers that I have had in a long time, which was extremely fun filled, but all fun times eventually come to an end. I am not saying forever, but at least for now.
Before I completely put my summer time adventures behind me, there’s just one last summer sixteen vacay look to share that I couldn’t go without posting. It was such thee perfect fit for the occasion. During my vacay with hubs, we enjoyed a lakeside dinner date night while in Scottsdale, AZ at a restaurant called Pinon Grill in the Millennium hotel. Hubs had the White Wine Halibut + I had the BBQ Salmon. One of the best sea food dishes I’d ever had. To say the least, we had a very romantic candle lit dinner date for two.
What I wore: A long sheath backless + back slit soft pink dress with multi-color open toe high-heels both selections from Zara for the date. I wanted the dress + shoe to stand out on its own. Hence the reason I went with a multi-color shoe over a solid color shoe. The outfit was romantic, sophisticated + feminine, matching the mood + making me look like a whole lotta woman. Even with my petite-ness. (lol) It completely complemented the time of day, location + entree (it wouldn’t be the typical look for a burger meal). And how about it, I wore the same jewelry from my previous outfit post, which shows it’s versatility + it complemented my look so well. Fortunately, with some pieces you can get more bang for your buck when they go well with just about anything. I love buying items that serve multiple purposes. Especially if I like wearing the piece.
Sheath silhouettes are body conscious (or also known as body con) by clinging to the body in a most revealing way, giving attention to every curve on your body. Great for body types with petite or muscular built bodies. Even my tall + slim babes. Especially idea silhouette for hourglass body shapes.
How do you know what to wear for a date? Are there any challenges you face selecting wardrobe for the occasion?
Thanks for stopping by + reading this outfit post. XO
