Therapeutic Scrub

Therapeutic Scrub

Hi beauties! I hope you’re Easter weekend is off to a great start. There are so many things on my plate this weekend that I may need to throw in a brief R&R. I’m talking about a much needed and long overdue day at the spa.

My absolute favorite place to go in Los Angeles is Olympic Spa, a Korean Spa and Retreat. The spa is private and exclusively for women only. It’s such a freeing place that some of the spa patrons walk around nude, while others choose to wrap up in a robe. However, every woman is there for the same reasons, relaxation and rejuvenation from the outside world. If you’re looking for a spa that serves alcoholic beverages this would not be the place for you. The focus is on the pureness of your body and releasing toxins. When you’re hungry, you’ll be able to get a healthy Korean dish from their spa cafe.

Now let’s talk about why it’s my fav spa. Olympic Spa has some of the most unique spa ritual full body treatments any girl could ask for. These body treatments are Korean body scrubs that exfoliates your skin. Now when I say scrub, I mean scrub, but a rather enjoyable scrub. My last visit to Olympic Spa was for my birthday last year with a group of my good girlfriends. I had always heard about the spa, but never took the time to indulge until I decided to celebrate my birthday with a girls spa day. It was my way of spoiling myself and making sure that my girlfriends did too.

Okay, so back to these full body treatments. The darphin body treatment I received was called the Goddess, which included a full body Korean scrub with skin exfoliation, a seaweed body shampoo, aromatherapy massage and an oil scalp massage (you can exclude the oil scalp massage if you choose). It lasted one hour and forty-five wonderful minutes. The experience that this treatment gave me is unforgettable and everlasting. I was extremely rejuvenated and my skin felt amazing [like butter; smooth, soft and silky]. An ultimate guarantee to relax your mind and body.

As mothers, wives and working women, we must treat ourselves. What better way to do that then to enjoy an all access experience to taking care of our precious bodies. If you’re in or near the LA area, visit the website for Olympic Spa. Not in LA or visiting anytime soon, google search for Korean Scrubs at a spa closest to you.

Side Note: To fully enjoy all of the other amenities at Olympic Spa like the pool and Jacuzzi get there an hour early. You will not be able to get in the water after your body scrub. Read the spa tips that are located around the spa.

Let me briefly show you the inside. There are only certain areas that is safe to photograph. I did say it was a private spa, right? 😉
