Wedding Style Vibes

Hey lovers! I had such a fabulous weekend with my family celebrating a union that I couldn’t be more excited for. My big bro married his soul mate on Friday in a beautiful ceremony in Agoura Hills a city in the Los Angeles County. Of course I was front and center and smiling proudly as he tied the knot for the first time. He’s the last of my mother’s kids to get married and have been there for both my sister and I when we got married. Weddings has got to be one of my favorite events to attend because the feeling I get when I see two people committing themselves to each other and the support they receive from everyone in attendance is so amazing.

Their wedding colors were cobalt blue, grey and ivory. Most of the immediate family members of both the bride and groom wore cobalt blue attire or included the color in their attire. As you can see the sleeveless floral princess dress silhouette (which by the way is the perfect silhouette for any body shape) I wore had multiple colors that not only had their wedding color in it, but also the colors for the season of Spring. It was the perfect dress for me and fit my style personality to a tee. I received numerous compliments on my dress and I believe that it was all around the right choice for the special occasion.

What I find important for each and every wedding I attend is that I’m dressed appropriately for the occasion and event. I’ve seen a lot of attire worn to weddings that should be left in the closet at home, the club or a picnic. There’s a dress code for every occasion and weddings are one of those events that need to be taken a little more seriously. Keeping in mind that the bride and groom aren’t the only ones that should be dressed up, but the invitees in attendance should too. Of course you’re not going to wear black tie attire to every wedding unless it calls for it, but doing a little research on the wedding you’ll be attending might help you discover the right attire to wear.

Let me know your thoughts. How do you think I did with my dress choice? What factors determine how you dress for a wedding? I hope you liked this post. XO
