Changing Your Attitude Could Change Your Style

Changing Your Attitude Could Change Your Style

Have you ever thought about how changing your attitude could change your style? I didn’t know how much of an impact my attitude would have on the way that I dressed either, until now. An attitude can go from good to better or from bad to worse depending on, well, YOU. Of course without working on yourself (which is a continuous journey might I add) and your personal growth, your mindset can be negatively impacted by the many experiences you’ll encounter in your lifetime to teach you a thing or two. Your attitude will effect how these experiences make or break you. To me, your mindset and style go parallel because as one changes so does the other. I started to recognize when my mindset changed for the better, as so did my style.

What I’m Wearing

Geo Print Blouse by Forever 21

Faux Leather Culottes by Forever 21

Necklace by Forever 21

Bracelet Cuff + Earrings by Kollectin

Faux Suede Strappy Block Heels by Forever 21

Belt by LA Fashion District Boutique (similar here)

As I changed my way of thinking, I evolved, and my style went right along with it. The way I dress became more adventurous than it was. These days I take a little more risk with my style and I have my new mindset to thank for that. There’s an emphasis that I put on my daily look because it helps with determining the way I feel. And your actions are based on your feeling, so I’m dressing to fit the need.

How I present myself has nothing to do with the world, but with the way I choose to represent how the world should see me. The way I’ve learned to perceive it is, how others treat me is a byproduct of the way I treat myself. I put forth the effort in treating myself with more dignity than I have before. Remember those experiences we encounter in our lifetime that comes to teach us about life and ourselves that I mentioned in the beginning? Those are the same experiences that taught me that I needed to change my mind state in order to have a more positive lifestyle. Even in the way I look on a daily basis.

Has changing your attitude changed your style? What are some other ways that your mindset has changed your lifestyle? Thanks for stopping by to read this blog post. Let me know what you think. I would love for you to subscribe for future post alerts. Until we connect again, be good to yourself.
